Series Update

Hello Readers!

I am interrupting my Rapunzel writing time to bring you a quick series update. I am working to expand my website slightly to include a section on my works in progress, series plans, and tentative publishing schedules, but that isn't complete yet! In the meantime I thought I'd put up a post with my *current* plans for the next year.

Right now the only release set in stone is Rapunzel at the end of August 2022. I can't wait to release Persinette and Petro's story, as well as advance the series story by perhaps a leap AND a bound.

At this point I'm not planning to release any more full length books in 2022, although that may change. Instead, I'm planning to write and edit an Istoire prequel series—based off of Robin Hood— to be released in the first three months of 2023! You've met many of these characters before, and they have been demanding to have their story told. If you knew Lady Marian like I do, you'd understand why I'm bowing to the pressure to write their story before finishing the main series! You do not want to cross that lady!

If the trilogy's release schedule goes to plan, that means I should be releasing the next book in the Istoire main series in Summer 2023. Hint - It's a retelling of Through the Looking Glass! I will try my best to release the eighth book in the main series at the end of Fall 2023, which will be a Peter Pan retelling.

How many books are in the Istoire Awakens Series you ask? Buckle up, or go ahead and sit on your fainting couch, because I am planning twelve books—yes TWELVE. I know. It's a lot. But it will be worth it I promise. I had planned twelve books when I started the series, but I didn't want to lay them all out before I was sure of how the first half of the series actually unfolded. As much as I like to plan what I write in advance, I've learned to always make room for what the characters decide. They are surprisingly persuasive. By now I'm confident in how all the stories fit and contribute to the overall series story, so I feel comfortable letting you guys in on the publishing plan.

I know it's a bit of a wait, but worst case scenario should mean that I have all of the books available by end of 2025. I'll have more information on what each of the retellings will encompass once I have my works in progress section of my website updated.
